There can be a memory problem between Microvet and Windows XP. When you get the error message ‘Not enough memory’, The Reason for this Messages is because MicroVet 5 has ‘n limitation of 512 MB RAM.

You can solve the problem as follows:

Option 1
Do a Data Conversion to MicroVet 6 ( MicroVet 6 has no limitations on RAM )
The Conversion Files can be Downloaded on the Main Menu

Option 2
Start Windows
Right click on My Computer
Click on Properties
Click on Advanced
Click on Settings of Start up and Recovery to get this screen

 Click on Edit to get this screen

 Highlight the last line that starts with “multi(0)…”
Click on Edit on the top menu
Click on Copy
Click on the blank line below the line that is highlighted
Click on again on Edit
Click on Paste

There will be two duplicate lines now. Change the second line as follows:

1. Change the part between the quotation marks to “Microsoft Windows Microvet”
2. Add a space and /maxmem=512 to the end of the line

Click on File
Click on Save

Click on File
Click on Exit
Click on OK
Close all the Windows
Restart the PC

When Windows starts, it will stop and wait for you to select between

Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Windows Microvet

Select Microvet every time you start the PC

If you start the PC and don’t make a selection, Windows will wait for a minute and then start on the first option
