How to restore a deleted client

If there are transactions, old transactions, patients, or clinical records linked to a client, and the client is deleted, the transactions, old transactions, patients, and clinical records will remain in the databases. It is possible to recover this data.  There are two methods to restore a deleted client, choose one of these options:

1.  Remove the deleted flag in DBU

2.  Create a new client with the original client number

Method 1:  Remove the deleted flag in the DBU

When any record is deleted in Microvet it is flagged as DELETED but remains in the database until the database is re-indexed.  If a record has been deleted but the system has not been re-indexed, the DELETED flag can be removed and the record will be restored. If you have re-indexed after the client has been deleted, use the second method.
